Who is the course aimed at?

The Certificate in Employee Share Plans course has been designed especially for share plan practitioners on the issuer side as well as other third party (non-legal) providers such as administrators. The course is not suitable for those offering private legal services or advice. It is especially designed for:

• company secretaries, assistant company secretaries and those supporting the company secretarial function;
• administrators, both those within companies and those providing services externally;
• human resource professionals, those working within companies in designing and communicating employee share plans;
• benefit consultants who advise on employee and executive share plans.

The qualification

This is the only professional employee share plan qualification available in the UK. Participants can expect the course to be equivalent to the first year of a three-year undergraduate honours degree programme in the United Kingdom.

Course Structure

The course is split into 2 parts and each part will be taught over 5 short days on Zoom, finishing around lunchtime each day. These session timings make it easier and more practical for on-screen learning and to fit around other commitments. Each part will be followed by an exam. The course will combine larger group teaching with participatory learning through smaller breakout sessions, each hosted by a Tapestry lawyer. These sessions ensure an interactive experience and the opportunity to learn from each other, with fun exercises and practical examples to help consolidate your knowledge.

Who delivers the course?
